Our camp goals are to foster responsible stewards of our planet through the enjoyment of the outdoors. Kayaking, Canoeing, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Camping, White water rafting, Zip-Lining are just some of our tools, which, when combined with enthusiastic counsellors leads to an amazing and positive impact on kids and teens attending Epic Camps.

So many lifetime friendships begin on our trips. Many say the friendships are the greatest gift of the EPIC CAMPS experience, and we look forward to creating many more of these friendships each year!

Whistler Accommodation

The EPIC CAMPS Whistler residence is located at the Whistler Olympic Athlete Centre, a safe, clean and centrally located basecamp for all our camp adventures.

• Campers sleep in double occupancy bedrooms.

• There is an optional upgrade for single rooms at a cost of $95 USD per night **based on availability.

• Girls sleep separately from boys (No co-ed rooms) Boys with boys and girls with girls only.

• Camp staff patrols the residence 24/7 to supervise and assist campers.

• A camp nurse is available 24/7 to take care of all health related matters.

Epic Camps - Banff, 2024

Welcome to Epic Camps Banff! 

Our campers embark on a 10-day adventure that promises an unforgettable experience amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the great Canadian Rockies! As we journey through the picturesque & untamed wilderness of Canmore, Banff, and Jasper, our young adventurers will have the extraordinary opportunity to discover the pristine beauty of Canada’s nature while trekking through lush forests, paddling serene lakes, mountain biking and stargazing from our campsite under the vast skies. 

At Epic Camps Banff, we firmly believe in the power of nature to inspire and educate. Our dedicated team of passionate guides and instructors is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where kids can cultivate a profound appreciation for the outdoors and forge lifelong memories with new friends. Every moment will be infused with excitement, discovery, and camaraderie.

Banff, AB

Transfer Option: Whistler to Banff

For parents wanting to combine Whistler + Banff camps for their child. Whistler “Week 2” camp ends Sat 27th July and our Banff camp starts Thu 1st August 2024. 

There is a 6 day transfer period in between camps. Parents may arrange their own transfer for their child to Calgary International Airport – Alberta or our Base Camp Lodge or select our Epic Camp transfer (5 day road trip) from Whistler to Calgary for $990USD per child (27th July to 1st August 2024) 

This is a road trip including transportation, all meals, counselor supervision, camping and activities along the way.

Healthy Meals

We welcome campers from many different countries with their different palates. Our menu is created by our in-house nutritionist who works with the kitchen staff to make healthy and delicious meals for the kids and staff. All food is locally and freshly purchased with the goal of providing the energy children need for highly active days.

Electronic Device Policy

This is such a special opportunity for kids to truly connect with nature, the outdoors and interact with others. Therefore computers, tablets and video games are not allowed at camp. However electronic readers, music players and photo cameras will be allowed at certain times of the day. Cell phones are allowed to call home.

Electronic devices will be stored in the camp’s office for safety. Campers will have access to their electronics upon authorization of the staff.

Camp Organization

Juniors: ages 9 to 11
Teens: ages 12 to 14
CIT’s: ages 15 to 19
Groups are co-ed, meaning they are mixed boys and girls.

Sample Daily Schedule

Sunday to Friday Schedule
7:30am Wake up and get ready for the day!
8:00am Healthy breakfast made by our chef.
9:00am Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, zip-lining, white water rafting.
12:30pm Lunch break.
13:30pm Continuation of outdoor activities.
17:00pm Transportation back to athlete centre and relax time.
18:00pm Dinner.
19:00pm Evening games and activities.
21:00pm Snacks.
21:30pm Lights out.

Thursday to Friday overnight TENT camping.
Saturdays check in/out, clean up room. Those staying 2 weeks do their laundry, relax, go mountain biking and activities at the Whistler Athlete Centre.
